How do I know if this is ....How do I know if this is ....
Mulberry Silk comes primarily from silkworms in China who eat white mulberry leaves, leaving a cocoon of spun silk that is used to weave fabric. With so many cheaper versions of mulberry silk, how do I know if this is the real deal? Well, I really do not know if this pillow fabric is 100% silkworm derived. It is not white so there had to be some level of dye added and that colorant is not listed. So, while I cannot confirm the fabric content, I can share how the pillow feels and functions. I have had silk and satin pillows and went back to cotton because organic cotton simply felt better on my face while sleeping. This pillow case is not like other silks, satin, or cotton. The fabric is smooth and soft - it's like sleeping on butter. I woke up this morning with less hair tangle and my face felt cuddled. I have never owned a 100% silk pillowcase before, especially not at this price point, so I am really glad I was able to experience this one. Even the packaging felt impressive. It was packaged like a luxury brand, which made the whole experience feel special before I even used it. I already had satin pillowcases and thought they were soft, but they do not compare to this mulberry silk pillowcase at all. This pillowcase feels incredibly soft, smooth, and luxurious. I had the satin pillowcases on some of my pillows and this silk one on another, and even in the dark when I turn over during the night, I can immediately tell which pillow has this silk pillowcase on it. The difference is that noticeable. It also has ample room, so you can use a full, fluffy pillow and it will still fit nicely inside the pillowcase. This is one of those products where you immediately understand the price the second you touch it. First off—this definitely IS real silk, not satin, which is important to verify (esp at this price point). There are so many listings on Amazon of bonnets and pillowcases, sheets etc claiming “silk” and when you get it, it’s satin. This pillowcase is 100% mulberry silk, and you can feel it immediately. What surprised me though is that I actually have other 100% mulberry silk items (my daughter’s play silks from Sarah’s Silks), and somehow this pillowcase feels way smoother and more luxurious than those. Same material on paper, totally different experience in real life. From what I can tell, it’s thicker and more tightly woven, which gives it that extra silky, almost glassy feel. High Quality Pillow Case
If this is actually made from mulberry silk, I understand the high price. I can't really tell, though. This high-quality pillowcase has been a game changer for my sleep. My other silk pillowcases tend to slide off my pillow while I sleep, but the seamless, smooth zipper on this one means I don't have to worry about that! The Cherry Pink color is more of a dusty pink in my opinion, but I love it. It feels soft and luxurious, and my hair is happy. I'm no longer waking up worried about a frizzy mess, and the color hasn't faded even after multiple washes. Just make sure to read and follow the washing instructions so you don't accidentally damage it.

Beckham Hotel Collection 22 Momme Silk Pillowcase
This is a 100% Mulberry silk pillowcase (22 momme, 6A grade) in the Cherry Pink color, Queen size. Unboxing and Prep Out of the box, the silk had noticeable deep creases from being folded. I hand washed it and air dried it, but the wrinkles remained. I used a steam iron at approximately 300F with a flour sack towel as a pressing cloth to protect the fabric. It took two passes to get most of the wrinkles out, but the silk held its sheen well throughout the process. Zipper and Construction The zipper tracks are hidden behind a fabric flap so you don't feel the teeth. However, the zipper pull is not fully integrated or tucked away; it hangs free at the end of the track. The pull is small enough that it hasn't been an issue or gotten in the way during use, but it's worth noting it isn't completely "invisible." Heavenly Silk
My mom has slept on satin pillowcases for years and loves them. So, when I noticed the silk pillowcase, I decided to place an order out of curiosity. Wow! I have never felt a silk like this. The fabric is luxurious. It feels like satin but way softer. With solely a cotton pillowcase background, this mulberry silk feels heavenly compared to cotton. Even though the fabric is delicate, there are no flaws or bumps in the silk. While the fabric is lightweight, the weave is tight making the pillowcase feel durable. Because I have sensitive skin, I noticed their process of turning raw materials into silk fabric is certified by OEKO-TEX. For me, that is important. I am looking forward to sleeping cooler and waking up with less wrinkles. I ordered the cherry pink color which looks similar to a mauve pink. Soft, silky; best product for skin and hair!
This silk pillowcase is a fantastic find if you're looking to add a luxurious, high-end feel to your bedding. The fabric is remarkably soft and smooth, offering that classic "silk" experience that is much gentler on your hair and skin than standard cotton. I also really appreciate the zippered edge, which keeps the pillow securely tucked inside so it doesn't slide out during the night. Regarding care, the instructions recommend washing cold and hanging to dry, but I’ve found that the silk can feel a bit stiff once it's air dried. To bring back that signature suppleness, I think a quick 15-minute tumble in the dryer on the lowest heat setting is the perfect solution to soften the fibers without risking damage. It’s a beautiful, functional piece that looks elegant on the bed and feels even better to sleep on.

Luxuriously Soft & Cooling, But Needs a Wider Opening
I really enjoy sleeping on the Beckham Hotel Collection Silk Pillowcase—it has such a silky, smooth feel that makes a noticeable difference in comfort. It feels wonderful against the skin and hair, and I especially love how it helps keep my head cool throughout the night, which leads to a restful sleep. The color choices are also wonderful and look very rich, adding a nice elegant touch to the bed. It’s also held up nicely in the wash, which is always a plus for something this delicate. That said, I’m giving it 4 stars because of the zipper opening design. You lose about 4 inches of usable space at the opening, which makes it harder than expected to insert a pillow. Unlike other zippered pillowcases I own, the ends don’t open wide enough, so I had to squeeze my pillow in—and I actually noticed the stitching starting to pull a bit because of it. A wider opening would make a big difference
